TUG OF WAR

The throw of the Cero is now a tradition of the districts of Volterra trying to conquer the Cero, symbol of victory, that they keep until the next edition. While the eight city districts of S. Agnolo, Porta a Selci, Porta all’Arco - S. Alessandro, Cavallaro Moje Regis, Santa Maria, S. Stefano - Colombaie, S. Giusto and Villamagna challenge themselves with throws of rope to get the coveted Cero, to enrich the event there are parades in costume and a crossbow tournament.
